About me

I am a qualified therapist working with a wide range of issues including depression, anxiety, relationship issues, miscarriage, bereavement, sexual abuse, trauma, abortion, anger, self-harm and self-esteem. 

I have worked extensively with adults and young people (14-18 years of age).

I have experience of working within an NHS environment and general counselling agencies. I maintain my continued personal development attending events, workshops and courses that include: sexual violence, self-harm, suicide and adult victims of childhood sexual abuse.

My background in the corporate world left me unhappy and not understanding my own feelings and emotions and knowing I wanted more from my life. I made the decision to retrain as a therapist and feel my understanding of the pressure of life, family and relationships enables me to connect empathically in a non-judgemental way.

My qualifications:

I am a member of the BACP (British Association of Counsellors and Psychotherapists) 

• COSORT level 5 Diploma in Couples and Relationship Counselling 
• CPCAB level 4 Diploma in Therapeutic Counselling
• CPCAB level 3 Certificate in Counselling Studies
• CPCAB level 2 Certificate in Counselling Skills

I am also a holder of a current DBS certification
